A3O (pronounced “Aeo” or “AO’’) aka the King of Vibes is MOBO UnSung's UK Afrobeat artist of 2022. Born & raised in Brixton (South London) of Nigerian heritage, the performing artist A3O is London’s treasure for Afrobeat with a melodic thrill. The King of Vibes discovered his talent at the age of 4 singing in a school choir. Not a stranger to the stage, A3O’s notable moments include: Performing at the SSE Arena Wembley, performing live with Kylie Minogue at BBCʼs annual Radio 2 Festival in Hyde Park (70,000 people), performing at the EartH (Evolutionary Arts Hackney) for the Palm Wine Fest London supporting afrobeats artists: Show Dem Camp, Ladipoe, Ayra Starr and BNXN FKA Buju to name a few. With 2022 being the year to create more music and strong collaborations, A3O became Sofar Sounds Resident artist: performing and headlining more than 30+ sold out shows across the United Kingdom. A3O successfully toured 8 cities around the UK to promote the MOBO Unsung Album marking the MOBO Awards 25th Anniversary. A3O’s single Closer on the MOBO Unsung Album received rave reviews and national radio support being played by DJ Ace & Sian Anderson on BBC 1xtra & on KISS 100’s KISS Fresh Presents by Bex. A3O is set for a promising 2023 as the King of Vibes with his debut EP, scheduled to be released in Spring 2023 in collaboration with Amazon Music Emerging artists. A3O’s mission is to “create music that lives forever”.
